Tim Smith (men’s diver), UMaine sophomore swept the men’s diving events in helping the Black Bears beat Providence in a dual meet Saturday.

Betheny Sevey (women’s basketball player), Husson University’s Sevey averaged 26 points. 5 rebounds and 3 steals in leading the Eagles to two conference wins.

Erin McNamara (women’s basketball rookie), freshman USM point guard averaged 10.5 points and 3.5 assists as the Huskies won a pair of conference games.

Sunrise

Sabree Rodriguez (women’s basketball player), led UMaine-Machias to three conference victories, averaging 15.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.3 steals.

Emma LeGallais, Jenn Colpitts (women’s basketball co-rookies), UM-Machais’ LeGallais averaged 10 points and 4 steals in three UMM conference wins while Colpitts averaged 19.5 points and 6 steals in leading UMaine-Fort Kent to two conference wins.

Zach Armstrong (men’s basketball player), UMaine-Machias junior reached 1,000 points for his career over the weekend, averaging 16 points and 4 rebounds for UM-Machias over the course of the week.

Mike Russell, Will Hanley (men’s basketball co-players), Colby’s Russell averaged a double-double with 21.5 points and 16 rebounds for the Mules while Bowdoin’s Hanley led his team to two wins, averaging 20 points and 12.5 rebounds.

Pet Summer (men’s basketball rookie), UMaine-Farmington freshman scored a season-high 20 points in leading the Beavers past Green Mountain over the weekend.
