ROCKPORT, Maine — Knox County Sheriff Donna Dennison was treated at Penobscot Bay Medical Center on Friday after a two-vehicle accident, a nursing supervisor confirmed Saturday.
According to the online newspaper Village Soup, Dennison was in a car crash Friday afternoon in Washington. She was driving her sheriff’s office vehicle when the collision occurred.
The website reported that the other driver was not injured.
No further information was available Saturday from police.
