BELFAST, Maine — The unattended death of a local man is under investigation, Belfast Police Chief Jeff Trafton said Thursday.

Christopher James Moore, 30, of Belfast was found dead at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday by his brother at a home on Cardinal Circle, Trafton said.

“There was nothing suspicious at the scene,” he said.

The state medical examiner’s office is working to determine the cause of Moore’s death, he said, adding that there is a possibility that local police will conduct more interviews on the matter.
