BANGOR – Betty L. Willey, 65, died Jan. 3, 2011, at her residence. She was born April 29, 1945, in Exeter, daughter of Wallace N. and Mae E. (Sayward) Curtis. Betty liked to cook, bake, go shopping and fishing. She loved her family very much and her life revolved around them. Betty is survived by three sons, Steven Willey and his wife, Suphatsa, of Orrington, Todd Willey and his wife, Susan, of Raynham, Mass., and Brent Dority and his wife, Annette, of Hermon; two daughters, Melissa Mitchell of Levant, and Vicky Willey and her significant other, Mark Wickett, of Old Town; two brothers, Nelson Curtis and his wife, Carol, of Shelton, Conn., and Ronnie Curtis of Exeter; four sisters, Kathy West and her husband, Roland, of Jackman, Gloria Crews of Pembroke, N.H., Judy McAtee and her husband, Dennis, of Plymouth, and Tammy Curtis and her significant other, Mark Plamondon, of Pittsfield; grandchildren, Raelynn, Matthew, Maegan, Brandi, Gretta, Todd, Christopher, Brent, Devin, Zachery and Jacob; great-grandchildren, Dakota, Rebecca, Calista, Josiah, Conner, Sophia and Addisyn; aunt, Edith Bowman of Hartland; best friend, Doris McCrossin of Claremont, N.H.; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Lawrence Curtis and Randy Curtis. The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7, at First Apostolic Church of Brewer, 14 Parkway South, Brewer, with the Rev. David Smith officiating.
