Saco woman charged with stabbing roommate in bathtub

SACO, Maine — A Saco woman has been arrested and charged with the the stabbing of her roommate, who was found severely wounded in his bathtub last week, according to a press release from Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Steven McCausland.

Pamela Young, 48, was charged Friday night with elevated aggravated assault against Dale Berube, 50, who is still at Maine Medical Center in Portland following the incident. Police found Berube in his bathtub Friday morning after Young called police to the apartment.

Young is being held on $15,000 bail.
