CHARLENE ANN PIDGEON

HUDSON – Mrs. Charlene Ann Pidgeon passed away Friday, Dec. 17, 2010. She was born Feb. 12, 1942, in Houlton. She was raised in Houlton and attended Houlton High School. She was employed for 20 years at Striars Mills, Orono. A woman who loved to travel, she held residence in Hudson, Indianapolis and Zephyrhills, Fla. In addition to her travels and family, Mrs. Pidgeon was also involved with Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 8154, American Legion Post No. 75, and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 3177. Charlene was predeceased by her parents, Walter Bohan and Hazel Anderson; stepfather, Ellis Anderson; son, Robert Harding; brother, Robert Bohan; and sister, Jean Oliver. Those left to cherish her memories include her loving husband, Glenn George Pidgeon of Hudson; son, Ronald W. Harding of Rumford; stepson, Jeffrey Pidgeon of Durham, N.C.; stepdaughter, Kim Pidgeon Cain of Morrisville, N.C.; grandchildren, Ronald A. Harding of Brewer, Michael Harding of Raymond, N.H., Jennifer, Mackenzie, Rheanna and Jessica Pidgeon of Durham, N.C., Mary and Jordan Cain of Morrisville, N.C.; her most recent blessing, great-grandson, Anthony Michael Harding of Raymond, N.H.; and brothers, John Bohan and Alton Anderson of Georgia. Mrs. Pidgeon requested that her family host a celebration of life in her passing, an event that will take place at her beloved home on Pushaw Lake, Hudson, at a later date this summer. Friends and relatives will be invited and notified of the exact date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to you local humane society. Please honor the family’s and Charlene’s wishes and remember her life with love and joy!
