NEWPORT – Myrtle A. Hall, 81, died Dec. 17, 2010, at a Bangor hospital. She was born April 19, 1929, in Palmyra, a daughter of Elmer and Elsie (Parsons) Lawrence. She lived in Norwich, Conn., for a time, where she served as president of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She is survived by a son, Daniel Page of Camden; a daughter, Rebecca Harding of Lincoln; a brother, Arnold Lawrence of Augusta; and four sisters, Dorothy Austin of Palmyra, Hazel Chadbourne of Cambridge, Tina Hollis of Norwich, Conn., and Arlene Frati of Gardiner. She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard Hall; a son, Joseph E. Page; and a brother, Carl Lawrence. Graveside committal services will be held in the spring at Palmyra Village Cemetery.
