ROCKLAND, Maine — Police have been looking for a Friendship woman in what they are considering a suspicious case.

Katrina Windred, 47, has been missing since Saturday night, according to Stephen McCausland of the Maine Department of Public Safety.

Windred was in Rockland visiting friends. The friends reported Windred missing Sunday night.

According to McCausland, Windred is 5-foot-3, 115 pounds, has brown hair and blue eyes and wears glasses.

McCausland could not say Monday night why police are considering Windred’s disappearance suspicious.

Rockland police, the Knox County Sheriff’s Office and Maine State Police were searching for Windred on Monday.
