CORINTH – Maurice L. Dauphinee, 54, died Nov. 17, 2010, surrounded by his loving family at a Bangor hospital. He was born April 21, 1956, in Wichita Falls, Texas, son of Harold F. Dauphinee and Ruby I. (Grant) Dauphinee Rogers. Mo was a graduate of Bangor High School, Class of 1974. He had been employed at the former Freese’s department store in Bangor, where he was manager of the toy department. In more recent years, he worked at Surplus Store, Bangor; Miller’s, Brewer; and Wal-Mart. Mo was an avid sports fan, enjoying the Boston Red Sox, the New England Patriots and NASCAR. Surviving, in addition to his mother, Ruby Rogers of Corinth, are one daughter, Amy Anderson of Brewer; a nephew, Terrance Freeman of Bangor; stepdaughter, Dawn Marie England and her husband, Rick, of Bangor; one stepsister, Cheri Sikes of Brewer; and stepbrother, Ronald Rogers of Bangor. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, at Kenduskeag Union Church with the Rev. Ruth Guerette, pastor, officiating. Interment will be at Marston Cemetery, Orrington.
