For a majority of folks, suffering from cold feet is not from a medical condition and the root cause can be as simple as our gender, age, lifestyle or just the environment we live in.

Women are nine times more likely to suffer from cold feet than men. It can vary from a mild annoyance to being the symptom of an underlying disease.

What can you do to prevent the painful cramping and numbness brought on by the cold?

One company has a solution.

“The Volt rechargeable heated indoor/slippers were developed as a personal challenge to create a solution for those who suffer from cold feet. Particularly for people like my mother who suffered from cold feet while even indoors in a heated home. Something that was easy to use, reliable and worked as advertised was the goal.” explains Chris Haffly, president of 2K innovations.

The solution is a battery powered heating system integrated into a well insulated booty type slipper that includes a rubber outsole allowing for use about the house or outside in the winter cold. Unlike microwave versions that lose their heat in an hour, the Volt rechargeable heated indoor/outdoor slipper provides up to 6 hours of soothing warmth allowing you to forget about the cold. Another added feature is a built-in thermostat control that automatically adjusts the heat output depending on ambient temperature.

Simply connect the charged battery and the heating system takes care of the rest, Haffly says.
