The time is fast approaching when Bangor’s nine city councilors will be forced to decide whether to put shovels in the ground to build a new arena. Until now, the city has dealt only with abstract market studies, assumptions and projections. At a meeting next week with project architect Don Dethlefs and construction manager Norbert Young of Cianbro Corp., councilors will learn the firm cost of a proposed arena and renovated civic center.
