CECILE A. DESROSIERS

OLD TOWN and PENOBSCOT – Cecile A. Desrosiers, 72, died Nov. 7, 2010, with family by her side at Blue Hill Memorial Hospital. She was born March 21, 1938, in Old Town, a daughter of Onesime and Marie (Mazerolle) Desrosiers. Cecile was a longtime resident of Penobscot Nursing Home and especially enjoyed many activities there, such as Beano, sing-a-longs and Rummy. She is survived by two sisters, Corinne Baker and Constance Martin; a brother, Edward Desroisers; four nephews, Greg Baker, Mark Baker, Michael Martin and James Desrosiers; four nieces, Brenda Eldridge, Linda Kothman, Ann Batista and Mary Ellen Slade; sister-in-law, Virginia Hill; and by many friends at the nursing home. She was predeceased by her parents; brother, Alphonse Desrosiers; nephew, Arthur Martin; and brother-in-law George Martin. The family expresses a warm heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Penobscot Nursing Home for their wonderful and loving care provided to Cecile. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Bradley. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, Old Town.
