‘School House’ will rock Searsport High School

SEARSPORT — “School House Rock Live!” will open at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, at the Searsport District High School cafetorium. The show also will run at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13; 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19; and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20.

Based on the children’s Saturday morning cartoon series “School House Rock,” the show includes the well-known “Conjunction Junction,” “I’m Just a Bill,” “Interjections,” and more favorites that taught grammar, American history, science and math in memorable ways to millions of kids.

Directed by Chris Goosman and Katie Bailey, students from Searsport District High School-Middle School, and Frankfort, Stockton Springs and Searsport elementary schools perform in this upbeat, family-friendly show.

Tickets are $7, $5 students, and may be purchased at the door.
