DeLune, Hamilton, Lee win Belfast council seats

BELFAST, Maine — Unofficial results of the Belfast City Council race Tuesday night indicate that incumbents Roger Lee and Marina DeLune will keep their seats and will be joined by newcomer Nancy Hamilton.

With all wards reporting, Lee garnered 1,326 votes to challenger Rita Horsey’s 1,273. DeLune received 1,371 votes to challenger Roger Pickering’s 1,206, and Hamilton won 1,360 to John Arrison’s 992.

Hamilton is taking over the seat vacated by Lewis Baker who stepped down in order to make a run for the Legislature.
