CHARLESTON – Chief Master Sgt. Arnold V. Amero, U.S. Air Force, retired, 83, husband of Rebecca (Olmsted) Amero, passed away peacefully Oct. 31, 2010, at his residence. In addition to his wife of Charleston, he is survived by two sons, Gary and his wife, Cathy, and Dennis and his wife, Marcia; one daughter, Lainie Amero and her fiance, Mike; three grandsons, Jonathan, Thomas and Ethan and his wife, Lisa; a granddaughter, Sadie; two great-granddaughters, Kaytlynn and Allyson; three sisters, Norma Trask, Lois Noyes and Kay Thurston; and two brothers, Albert and Gary Amero. He was predeceased by two sisters, Jean Hanson and Donna Nason; and Gary’s first wife, Diedre “DeeDee.” At Arnold’s request, there will be no service or viewing.
