CORINNA – Charles Dinopoulos, 70, died Oct. 26, 2010, at a Bangor hospital. He was born June 12, 1940, in St. Johnsbury, Vt., a son of George and Evelyn (Widger) Dinopoulos. He graduated from Leominster (Mass.) High School and served a tour in the U.S. Air Force. He worked at Colonial Press, Clinton, Mass., for 17 years and for the Ames Co., Clinton, Mass., for 19 years. He was a member of the Masons. Charlie moved to Corinna in 1997 and taught hunter safety education for Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of Garland Grange and Pomona Grange. He was also a member of Morse’s Corner Baptist Church, Corinna. He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Gudroe) Dinopoulos of Corinna; one son, Matthew and wife, Kimberly Dinopoulos, of Fitchburg, Mass.; a sister, Joanne Awadellah of Leominster, Mass.; and a grandson, Joshua. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 29, at Morse’s Corner Baptist Church, Exeter Road, Corinna, with Pastor Mike Wilbur officiating. Friends may call 9 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at Morse’s Corner Cemetery, Corinna. Memorial donations may be made to American Lung Association, 122 State St., Augusta, ME 04330.
