Bridge Alliance party Oct. 30 in Hermon

HERMON, Maine — The Bridge Alliance will hold its annual Coming Out Party and Costume Dance at 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, at the Morgan Hill Event Center located off U.S. Route 2.

The band the Blast Addicts will perform.

The cost will be $15 per person.

The Bridge Alliance was founded in 2007. It grew out of Northern Maine Pride, which for more than a decade sponsored the gay pride parade during the summer in Bangor.

The dance is the organization’s major fundraiser, according to Greg Music, vice president. Money raised at the event is used to support family programs, including Christmas and Easter events, as well as outreach programs.
