Lewiston police say a fight broke out early Saturday between 29-year-old Alfred Jermaine Kelly and 32-year-old Bobbie Lee “Bootsy” Evans. Both men died.

Lewiston Police Sgt. Marc Robitaille (ROW’-b-tay) tells the Sun Journal newspaper the investigation into the events that led to the 1:30 a.m. Saturday fight was turned over to state police because the case is a homicide.

Autopsies on the bodies of the two men are scheduled for Tuesday.
