LEWISTON, Maine — Maine State Police say they’ve tentatively identified the two men who were each stabbed to death during a fight this weekend.
WCSH-TV says the victims are 29-year-old Alfred Kelly and 32-year-old Bobby Evans, both of the Lewiston area.
Police received multiple 911 calls early Saturday. When they arrived, they found one man lying in the street and the other inside an apartment, already dead. Police say both had been stabbed.
Investigators say the men knew each other, and stabbed each other during a fight over a girl, the Sun Journal reported.
An autopsy for is scheduled for Tuesday in Augusta.
