CARIBOU – Bernadette Doucette, 80, died Oct. 1, 2010, in Caribou. She was born Aug. 30, 1930, in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (Damboise) Rossignol. Mrs. Doucette was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and was employed at McCain Foods, as well as Birds Eye Division of General Foods for many years. She was married to John Doucette Jr. Surviving in addition to her husband of Caribou, are three sons and a daughter-in-law, David Doucette of Caribou, Mark and Tammy Doucette of LaPorte, Ind., and Jeffrey Doucette of Caribou; one daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Jim Ralph of Medina, N.Y.; one sister, Ella Elliott of Connecticut; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, at Evergreen Cemetery, Caribou, with the Very Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie officiating.
