It’s been a month since Ralph “Greenie” Greenleaf, 47, was in a fight that resulted in his death near the Joshua Chamberlain Bridge in Bangor. Police say it was homicide, but have not made an arrest. We’ll report on the investigation. Reporter: Nok-Noi Ricker
A variation of marijuana is being sold in Maine. Known by several nicknames, including Spice, the stuff is popular among people who are subject to urine tests. It does provide a high but can cause some scary side effects, including blood pressure and heart rate changes, etc. Bangor emergency medical personnel had to pick up a juvenile in the City Forest last month after he took the stuff and fell ill. Some states are trying to ban it, but so far Maine doesn’t appear to be one of them. Reporter: Dawn Gagnon
It’s Day 3 of the Colin Koehler murder trial in Bangor. Koehler is accused of stabbing 19-year-old Holly Boutilier to death in Bangor in August 2009. Reporter: Judy Harrison
A big bear was shot by a hunter near Danforth early in September. Really big. Estimates place the bear’s live weight at more than 600 pounds, which would make it one of the biggest black bears ever shot in Maine. We’ll have a photo of the big bruin as well. Reporter: John Holyoke
Mike Hanson, 45, of Minnesota has just finished hiking 1,800 miles of the Appalachian Trail, which is 2,179 miles long. He’s completely blind and used a modified GPS to navigate. His mission is to show how technology can aid people without sight in being more independent. Reporter: Aislinn Sarnacki
