Opening arguments are taking place today in the murder trial of Colin Koehler, accused of the brutal slaying of 19-year-old Holly Boutilier in 2009. We’ll cover all aspects of the trial as it unfolds this week in Bangor. Reporter: Judy Harrison

In Augusta, the Legal and Veterans Affairs committee is starting its review of how the revenue from Hollywood Slots in Bangor is allocated. Under scrutiny is the amount of money being spent to support harness racing. The committee will also take up Clean Elections funding in light of court challenges in other states. Reporter: Kevin Miller

Gubernatorial candidate Libby Mitchell, a Democrat, is scheduled to unveil her plans for energy and the environment today in Bangor at a meeting with Fusion Bangor, a group of young business professionals. How much will the plan cost taxpayers? Reporter: Chris Cousins

Today is the first day of moose hunting in parts of the state. We’ll zero in on the tagging station in Ashland, where a lot of moose will be weighed, examined by biologists, and admired by hunters. Reporter: John Holyoke

The second annual art show to provide funds for the renovation of Bangor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center residents’ rooms will be held Oct. 2 at the Masonic Center in Bangor. We’ll preview the artists and their works. Reporter: Aislinn Sarnacki

In Sports, we’ll cover the high school boys soccer game between rivals Old Town and Orono.
