Stanley Dip It, Drop It, Dunk It Spotlight a rugged light source

BOCA RATON, Fla. — While the holidays are a bit far off, it’s a good time to be thinking about gifts or replacing gear in your fall outing gear box.

One such item could the the new Stanley Ultra Bright Waterproof Spotlight — a spotlight that is submersible in water up to 6 feet.

Whether camping, boating, fishing or working around the house, the Ultra Bright 5 Watt LED Waterproof , Rechargeable Spotlight will come in handy, especially now that the days are getting shorter. Up to 2 times brighter than other LED spotlights, the company claims, it delivers up to 200 lumens. The Stanley Waterproof Spotlight runs up to 10 hours.

If you should drop it in water the light floats, pointing up, making it easy to find in a lake or stream. With its ultra bright beam of light, you even can take the Spotlight underwater to explore below the surface.

Stanley says this go anywhere light is built tough — it can be dropped from heights of 10 feet and be ready to go on lighting up the night.

And there is no need to purchase batteries. A rechargeable 7.2 volt NiMH battery is built inside. AC and DC charging cords are included to charge the spotlight at home or inside a vehicle.

A rubber bezel handle offers a comfortable grip and a high/low dimmer control extends runtime.

Stanley says t light is tested by independent research labs for safety and reliability.

MSRP is $59.99 and the product is sold at Lowes Home Improvement Centers.
