BANGOR, Maine – Bangor firefighters were called to Bangor Gas Co.’s Bangor offices about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday after a construction worker accidentally pulled down a smoke detector, causing the fire alarm to go off, Bangor Assistant Fire Chief Darrell Cyr said.

No one was injured. Traffic was a little slow for a while because the trucks blocked one lane of Main Street.
