I-95 multiple-vehicle crash slows traffic Tuesday morning

CARMEL — A multiple-vehicle crash that occurred Tuesday morning on Interstate-95 stopped and slowed traffic near mile marker 173 while emergency crews dealt with the injured and cleaned up the highway.

At least one person was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries after the collision, which happened just before 8 a.m. in the northbound travel lane.

Maine State Police are handling the incident. This story will be updated later today as more details become available.
