At Bar Harbor, Logan Steward scored two of his three touchdowns in the third quarter when the Broncos outscored the Mount Desert Island Trojans 19-6 to secure their first victory.

In the third, Steward scored on a 2-yard yard and returned a kick 79 yards for a TD. Matthew Haws added a 40-yard TD run and Steward scored again in the fourth quarter when he broke loose for a 72-yard TD.

Cody Miller put Hampden on the scoreboard first when he caught a 17-yard TD pass from Jon Haws. Steward finished with 135 yards on five carries.

Elias Burne paced MDI with 118 yards on 21 carries, including a 4-yard TD run in the fourth quarter. Jayson Burke also scored for MDI, on a 7-yard run, and finished with 107 yards on 15 carries. Trevor Alley scored on a 1-yard rush in the second quarter.

MDI outgained Hampden in  total yards 407-315, but was hurt by turnovers.

    Mount View 44, Dexter 12

At Thorndike, Jay Babin scored Mount View’s first two touchdowns and totaled 99 yards on 11 carries to lead the Mustangs to victory over Dexter.

Babin also led the defense with five tackles, two assists and three sacks.

Adrian Melton also scored two rushing touchdowns for Mount View. Aaron Santana rushed nine times for 88 yards, including a 38-yard scoring run in the second quarter. He also completed 7-of-12 passes for 120 yards and converted four two-point conversions, including three for passes.

Will Nunn had five carries for 112 yards and scored on a 12-yard run in the fourth for the Mustangs.

Cameron Ross put Dexter on the board with an 80-yard kickoff return in the fourth quarter. Andrew Levensalor added another scored after a 55-yard run.

At Winslow, Dylan Webster blocked a would-be tying extra-point kick with 2:09 remaining in the fourth quarter to seal the win for Belfast over Winslow.

Senior Lani Eversge scored both touchdowns for the Lions. He scored on a 49-yard punt return in the first quarter and he caught a 28-yard scoring pass from Brad Reed in the second. He totaled 220 all-purpose yards.

John McCabe had both scores for Winslow. He scored on a 3-yard run in the second and on a 1-yard rush in the fourth to bring Winslow within a point. Kris Smith set up the fourth-quarter score with a 69-yard pass to Jeff Decker.

Brad Reed went 7-for-14 passing for 149 yards to lead Belfast. Nahsic Oliphant paced the defense with nine solo tackles and one assist.

McCabe had 14 carries for 55 yards for Winslow. Smith was 3-for-7 passing for 88 yards.
