OLD TOWN – Donna A. Beadnell, 54, passed away Monday Aug. 30, 2010, at home. She was born Feb. 23, 1956, in Bangor, the daughter of Rose and Donald Cates. Donna was an amazing interior designer, animal enthusiast and homemaker. She loved donating to animal orphanages and needy family’s. Though she didn’t have much, she gave whatever she did have and then some, always putting everyone and everything before herself. “While raising her family through times of anguish, pressure, sorrow and pain, she forced it all with patience, understanding and love. She has shown in a multitude of ways that she takes care of her family before herself. She is a good and caring person that continues to give even when she is overlooked or taken for granted.” Donna is survived by a very close daughter, Jennie Cates; a son, Travis Beadnell; her boyfriend of 15 years, Bill Arbuckle; her closest brother and sister, Mark Cates and Diane Lacadie; and many other family members. Her best friend, Linda Lacadie and her very special cat, Cuddles. Those who wish to remember Donna in a special way may make gifts in her memory to Donna Beadnell, P.O. Box 3131, Old Town, ME 04468.
