State police call Windham death ‘suspicious’

The Associated Press

WINDHAM, Maine — Maine State Police have classified the death of a Windham man whose body was found at the bottom of an eight-foot ledge as suspicious.

Police say 41-year-old David Harmon’s body was discovered Tuesday night, hours after he was reported missing by his wife. Harmon’s wife told police that she dropped off her husband earlier in the day to scout out hunting locations.

The state medical examiner’s office conducted an autopsy Wednesday, but no cause of death has been released.

State police spokesman Stephen McCausland says detectives have been conducting interviews and also searching property off Route 302.
