Maine DHHS is expected to announce which nonprofits have been awarded permits to open medical marijuana dispensaries in Downeast and far southern Maine. The state had to reopen the permit application period for the two districts because no one met the minimum requirements in the first application round. Reporter: Kevin Miller

Sugarloaf is unveiling plans to nearly double its skiing acreage by expanding onto adjacent Burnt Mountain. The new trails will offer a back-country skiing experience but will be in-bounds and will be monitored by the ski patrol. Reporter: John Holyoke

Bangor City Councilors will get an update tonight from the architect they have hired to design a new arena. Colorado-based Don Dethlefs may unveil a design for a 7,400-seat facility to replace the Bangor Auditorium. How much will it cost? Reporter: Eric Russell

Moosehead Manufacturing’s facility in Monson is scheduled to be auctioned off today. We’re monitoring the process and will find out who, if anyone, will own the assets of the furniture manufacturer going forward and what the new owner plans to do with them. Reporter: Diana Bowley

Jeff Wolowitz of Lincolnville makes tofu from Maine soybeans in his workshop in Camden. Formerly a high school physics teacher, he began making tofu full time a few months ago and now sells it to stores all over the state. Reporter: Emily Burnham
