NORMAN ‘BABE’ JAMES ALBEE

OTTER CREEK – Norman “Babe” James Albee, 68, died Aug. 26, 2010, in Otter Creek. He was born Aug. 15, 1942, in Bernard, the son of Myron and Erma (Tate) Albee. Babe worked at Jackson Laboratory for 44 years. He loved country music and enjoyed gardening, collecting model boats and holiday yard decorations. He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Evelyn (Trennam) Albee; one son, John Albee and his wife, Belinda, of Ellsworth; two daughters, Sandy Albee of Otter Creek and Mary Thurlow of Bass Harbor; one brother, Lawrence Albee and his wife, Lucille, of Salisbury Cove; and two grandchildren, Norman “Scooby” James Albee II and Brandan Albee. Babe was predeceased by Myron and Erma, Clyde, Polly and Geraldine. Services will be announced at a later date.
