    EASTON — Logan Bubar’s second goal of the game snapped a 3-3 tie with 14:49 remaining and gave the Fort Fairfield Tigers a 5-3 schoolgirl soccer victory over the Easton Bears Monday.

Janae Libby added an insurance goal with 13 seconds remaining.

Lindsey York and Kacie York had the other goals for 3-2 Fort Fairfield. Keegan Watt and Kylie Plourde had assists and Katy Donovan made six saves on 18 shots.

Carla Halvorson scored twice for 2-2 Easton and Megan Frank had the other goal. Ariana Babineau had an assist and Haley Ambrose made eight saves on 21 shots.

 
    LCS/MSSM 2, Hodgdon 0

At Limestone, Amanda Allen scored an unassisted goal with 38 minutes left in the first half to propel Limestone Community School/Maine School of Science and Mathematics past Hodgdon.

Daniele Pelkey added an insurance goal off an Allen assist with 28:34 remaining in the second half for the 1-2 Eagles. Autumn Beauchamp earned the shutout by stopping nine of 10 shots.

Kimberly Levesque turned away 24 of 26 shots for 0-2 Hodgdon.

    Madawaska 4, Houlton 1

At Houlton, Nicole A. Cyr had a hat trick to pace Madawaska to its triumph over Houlton, which was playing its opener.

Sam Nadeau had the other goal for the 2-1 Owls and Amanda Nadeau made 11 saves on 16 shots.

Chelsi Murray scored for Houlton, assisted by Abby Kinens, and Marina Cameron made nine saves on 15 shots.

Boys soccer

Houlton 4, Madawaska 3 (2OT)

At Madawaska, Houlton overcame a 3-0 deficit after Jimmy Fitzpatrick scored the winner with just 1:57 remaining in the second overtime to lead the Shiretowners past Madawaska.

Micah Goetsch, Gary Fowler and George Bessa recorded goals for 1-0 Houlton. Craig Thomas assisted Fowler’s goal.

D.J. Gendreau, Corey Nadeau and Ian Lee helped the 1-2 Owls build a 3-0 lead in the first half. Dylan Wetmore had two assists and Jacques Daigle provided an assist.

Houlton’s Cody Briggs saved 10 of 19 shots while Tim Deschenes of Madawaska made 18 saves off 22 shots.

JV: Madawaska 4-1
