HERMON – Robert C. Hasey Sr., 87, died Aug. 17, 2010, at a Bangor health care facility. He was born July 22, 1923, in Carmel, son of Calvin and Ethel (Crone) Hasey. Robert graduated from Maine School of Commerce as a mechanical engineer. He enjoyed building miniature models of airplanes, horse and wagons, trains and mill stations. He was predeceased by his wife of 22 years, Elaine (Conant) Hasey. He is survived by his children, Virginia Elliott of Tucson, Ariz., Robert C. Hasey Jr. and his wife, Nancy, of Hermon, David A. Hasey of Carmel, Colleen Flores of Bangor, Lori Murphy and her husband, Dennis, of Hermon, and Pamela Byron and her husband, Joseph, of Tucson, Ariz.; 17 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; and a special friend and ex-wife, Helen Hasey.
