PLYMOUTH, Maine — A Thorndike woman who was injured in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday evening remained at a Bangor hospital on Wednesday.

Linda Rolerson, 57, was listed in fair condition late Wednesday afternoon, an Eastern Maine Medical Center spokeswoman said.

The accident occurred about 6:15 p.m. on Route 7 near the intersection with Loud Road, state police Trooper Chris Hashey said Wednesday.

Rolerson was traveling north on her 2003 Yamaha with a group of other motorcycle riders when she reportedly began to black out, Hashey said.

He said Rolerson and her motorcycle then left the roadway, went down a grassy hill and into some trees.

Hashey said it appeared that Rolerson’s injuries included a possible broken leg. She was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
