Limestone man charged in residential burglary

LIMESTONE, Maine — Police have charged a local man in connection with an Aug. 6 burglary at a residence on Loring Commerce Drive.

The incident was reported just before 4 that afternoon and investigated by Officer Ryan Eagles of the Limestone Police Department.

Police said Eagles went to the scene and spoke to an eyewitness who gave the officer a description of a man later identified as Michael Gray, 24, of Limestone.

Eagles and U.S. Border Patrol officers detained Gray and reportedly found items that were taken from the residence.

Gray has been charged with burglary, a Class B crime; theft, a Class D crime; and misdemeanor criminal mischief.
