HOULTON – Winn G. Hemore Jr., 75, died Aug. 10, 2010, at a local hospital. He was born Aug. 10, 1935, in Houlton, the son of Winn G. and Elouise (Edwards) Hemore. Winn served in the U.S. National Guard, was a member of Houlton United Methodist Church, and employed for many years with Sherwin Williams and then with USDA as a crop inspector until his retirement. Winn enjoyed working on and spending time at the Harvey Siding camp. Winn is survived by his wife, Donna (Ellis) Hemore; his son, Daniel Hemore and his wife, Colleen “Beth,” of New York; his daughter, Cyndi Scott and her husband, Carl, of Houlton; two grandchildren, Kaylee and Cabe; and his brother, Almon “Tiny” Hemore and his wife, Bettie, of Houlton. He was predeceased by his parents; and his brother, Carl Blackmon. Graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Littleton Cemetery with the Rev. Marilyn Rohdin officiating.
