Two Maine men face charges after private sex show

The Associated Press

PORTLAND, Maine — Two Maine men are facing charges stemming from what is being described as a sex show put on by the 16-year-old girlfriend of one of the men.

Investigators ruled the show itself wasn’t illegal because there was no contact between the girl and 51-year-old man Stuart Richards of Standish, who viewed the show.

Rather, the girl’s 19-year-old boyfriend, Nicholas Fossett of North Waterboro, was indicted by a grand jury on a felony extortion charge for demanding $1,000 from Richards, his former employer, for not reporting him to police.

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s office says the extortion demand came on May 19.

Richards was charged with destroying items used in the show before going to police.

Neither man could be reached for comment.
