DORIS ‘LOUISE’ TURNER

HERMON – Doris “Louise” Turner, 93, passed away July 30, 2010, in Bangor. She was born Nov. 1, 1916, in Hartland, daughter of John and Bertha (Staples) Walker. She was predeceased by her husband, Darwin, in 1998. She is survived by her eight children and their spouses, Raymond and Barbara Hart, Glenn and Joan Rice, Fayleen and Mike Duffy, Deanna and Philip Morin, Betty and Brad Moody, Sheldon and Jonnie York, Carmen and Mike Higgins, and Jay and Colene Turner; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special niece, Kay Buzzell; and the family at Phillips-Strickland House, where she lived for several years. Louise was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend and neighbor who touched many lives, including those who cared for her at Ross Manor. A graveside service for family will be held at Waugh Cemetery, Levant. Donations in her memory may be made to Phillips-Strickland House, 21 Boyd St., Bangor, ME 04401.
