New Englanders to attend meeting on Atlantic herring catch limits

DURHAM, N.H. — New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts Atlantic herring harvesters will be represented this week at a public meeting to talk about adjusting the allowable days for commercial fishing.

The meeting is Wednesday at 4 p.m. in Alexandria, Va., but members of the Atlantic Herring Section from the three New England states will be present. Anyone unable to attend can listen to the discussion and comment by calling 877-793-4359 and entering 023861 when prompted for a passcode.
