Fundraiser at Pelletier Loggers restaurant in Millinocket

MILLINOCKET, Maine — Local police officers and others from the Bangor Police Department were waiting on tables and serving food and drinks Saturday at the Pelletier Loggers Family Restaurant Bar and Grill to help get tips to donate to Special Olympics Maine.

The restaurant also was hosting a raffle for a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Special Olympics Maine is a year-round athletic training and competition program for people with intellectual disabilities of all ages. In Maine there are more than 3,200 athletes who compete in the program.
