Four men sentenced in Piscataquis court

DOVER-FOXCROFT, Maine — A Milo man was among four people who pleaded no contest to a variety of charges Monday and were sentenced in Piscataquis County Superior Court.

Jeffrey Witham Jr., 33, was sentenced on the following charges: unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, one year to the Department of Corrections; two domestic violence assaults, 90 days in jail on each count; and domestic violence criminal threatening, 90 days in jail.

David Hathorn, 55, Medford, was sentenced on the following charges: violating conditions of release, 10 days in jail; criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, $1,000 fine and 30 days in jail; and refusing to submit to arrest or detention, 10 days in jail.

Roy Lemieux, 67, Sangerville, was fined $500 for illegal possession of a firearm or crossbow.

Thomas R. Edes, 21, Sangerville, was fined $500 and sentenced to 30 days in jail for operating a motor vehicle after habitual offender revocation.
