ANGELO E. DEROSA

BIDDEFORD – Angelo E. DeRosa, 48, died unexpectedly Monday, July 5, 2010, at his home. He was born Aug. 5, 1961, in Arlington, Va., a son of John and Irene (Lathrop) DeRosa. He attended Presque Isle High School, graduating with the Class of 1979. Angelo worked at AVX Tantalum Corp., Biddeford, for more than 15 years. Angelo loved music and was an avid musician. He performed in the area with Night Rockers, Lazy Lightning, Now is Now, and Raizin’ Cane as the bass guitarist. He took great pride in his home and yard, giving special attention to his flower and vegetable garden. Overall, Angelo enjoyed spending time with his loved ones. He is survived by his fiancee, Barbara Ouellette of Biddeford; his mother, Irene Beach of Saco; one son, Angelo DeRosa II of Warner Robins, Ga.; two daughters, Darcy DeRosa of Tampa Bay, Fla., and Danielle Ouellette of Biddeford; one stepdaughter, Cassandra Hutcheson of Biddeford; one brother, Aaron Butler of Travelers Rest, S.C.; and one sister, Darcie MacPherson and her husband, Paul, of Rocky Mount, Va.
