ORIENT, Maine — Maine State Police were combing through a Route 1 mobile home Friday apparently in search of evidence possibly connecting an Addison woman to a triple homicide in which her boyfriend was found stabbed to death in his Amity mobile home.

The State Police Evidence Response Team and several other detectives apparently served a search warrant at the home of the mother of Tamara Strout late Friday morning. They were still there as of 3:30 p.m.

State police declined to comment on whether Strout was a suspect or person of interest in the deaths of her boyfriend Jeffrey Ryan, 55, his 10-year-old son Jesse Ryan and the elder Ryan’s close friend, 30-year-old Jason Dehahn of Amity on June 23.

The slain Ryan and Strout have a teenage daughter.

State police have been on an almost constant search for evidence since the crimes were reported. On Saturday they found the burnt remains of a pickup truck registered to Ryan that was seen on his property the day he was killed.
