Carter, Crowley help rally Acadians past Lincoln in 11th

    BLUE HILL — Jordan Carter hit a two-out single in the bottom of the 11th inning to drive in Mike Crowley and lift the Acadians to a 4-3 American Legion baseball victory over the Lincoln Lumber Wednesday.

Crowley doubled for the Acadians. Devin Young chipped in with a sacrifice fly.

Ryan Beers posted two singles, a double and two RBIs to pace the Lumber.

At Dover-Foxcroft, Justin Amaroso pitched six innings, giving up two runs on two hits, as the Hampden-Newport Riverdogs defeated the Penquis Navigators.

  Nolan Turner hit three singles and knocked in two runs for the Riverdogs. Derek Amaroso doubled and singled with two RBIs while Josh Desjardins added an RBI single.

C.J. Giles tripled to pace the Navigators.
