     HOULTON — Brad Leadbetter pitched a one-hit shutout as Bangor West rolled past Border League in four innings for a 21-0 victory Tuesday in District 3 all-star action for ages 9-10.

  Gary Farnham hit a double and a single with three RBIs for Bangor West. Derek McCarthy added a double, a single and two RBIs.

  Wyatte Foster hit a single for Border League.

  At Bucksport, Sam Giffen doubled and singled to knock in a run while Jarin Hamilton hit an RBI double as Ellsworth triumphed.

  Brad Smith and Sam Horne singled in runs for the winners.

  Chase Carmichael had an RBI single and Kiegan Riccard a double for Bucksport.

  At Calais, Riley Russell doubled and singled for two RBIs and compiled eight strikeouts as Calais prevailed.

  Addison Cote, Jacob Hornbrook and Matt Perkins each added an RBI single for Calais.

  Nick Mallar, Zach Cox and Nevin Rhodes singled for Calais.

  At Blue Hill, Max Mattson singled three times and doubled for six RBIs to lead Coastal past Ellsworth II.

  Stefan Simmons had two doubles, two singles and three RBIs while Bryce Harmon tripled and singled to drive in three more for the winners.

  Connor Wagstaff doubled and singled for Ellsworth II.

  At Frankfort, Derek Collin hit a solo home run to lead Acadian II past Sunrise.

  Jake Ritter, Jacob Mitchell and Ezra Johnson all tripled for the winners.

  At Blue Hill, Max Mattson singled three times and doubled for six RBIs to lead Coastal past Ellsworth II.

  Stefan Simmons had two doubles, two singles and three RBIs while Bryce Harmon tripled and singled to drive in three more for the winners.

  Connor Wagstaff doubled and singled for Ellsworth II.

  At Houlton, Ryan Dee tossed three innings of one-hit baseball and drove in four runs with three singles to lead Houlton past Katahdin Valley in a game called after four innings due to the mercy rule.

  Dee struck out eight and walked two. Ben Tuttle pitched a scoreless fourth.

  Tyler Brown slugged a two-run homer and Garrett Putnam singled twice and knocked in a pair of runs.

  Jacob McAvoy singled for Katahdin Valley’s only hit.

  Megan Conner hit two singles to pace Bangor.
