Brewer rolls to victory

     BREWER – Logan Rogerson tripled, doubled and singled to drive in three runs and score four runs as Brewer toppled Old Town 17-3 in a District 3 All-Star baseball game for ages 11-12 Monday.

  Jacob Currier added a home run, a single, three runs and three RBIs for Brewer. Matt Pushard hit a three-run homer, Dylan Severance had two doubles, a single and three RBIs. Kyle St. Thomas had a three-run-home run, a single and a double.

  Cole Daniel and Baxter Smith each singled and knocked in a run to pace Old Town. Chris Binette singled and scored.

     Bangor West 10, Sebasticook 0

  At Bangor, Kyle Stevenson tossed a one-hit shutout, walking one and striking out 10 in leading Bangor West to victory over Sebasticook.

  Peter Kemble hit three singles and scored two runs to lead Bangor West. Matt Robinson hit a two-run single in the third inning. Evan McAuliffe and Brian Pierce added run-scoring singles in the fifth.

  Alan Lupas singled in the second for Sebasticook’s lone hit.
