FORT FAIRFIELD, Maine — A Fort Fairfield man was arrested Wednesday night on domestic violence-related charges after police from several law enforcement agencies converged on his home to execute search and arrest warrants.
Brock F. Good II, 43, was charged with domestic violence terrorizing, assault, criminal threatening and stalking, according to Fort Fairfield police.
Fort Fairfield police, Maine State Police and members of the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Department were called out to Good’s Houlton Road home at about 7 p.m. to execute the warrants, which were issued after his former wife filed a complaint with the court.
Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety, said Fort Fairfield police asked that the state police tactical team be mobilized out of concern for officer safety.
McCausland said Good surrendered to police about 8:30 p.m. without incident.
On Thursday, Good remained at the Aroostook County Jail in Houlton.
A jail official said Good is scheduled to make an initial court appearance Friday via videoconference.
Officials said Good’s bail has been set at $1,000 cash or $10,000 surety and that a lengthy list of bail conditions has been set, including that he not have contact with his alleged victim and that he not possess weapons or drugs and alcohol.
