ALFRED, Maine — The prosecution has wrapped up its testimony in the murder trial of an Old Orchard Beach woman and her brother.

Darlene George and Jeffrey Williams of West Hempstead, N.Y., are charged with killing George’s husband, 45-year-old Winston George, two years ago.

The state rested its case on Wednesday.

The defense will present its case on Thursday. The Portland Press Herald says lawyers have not said whether Darlene George or Williams will testify.
