HARPSWELL, Maine — Police are looking for a young man they say broke into a coastal Maine home, knocked the 77-year-old homeowner to the ground and stole her medications.

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department says the suspect was wearing a ski mask and armed with a knife when he forced his way into the residence in Harpswell shortly after 9 p.m. Friday.

The woman who lives in the home was taken to a Brunswick hospital where she was treated for a cut hand she suffered during the altercation.
