MILLINOCKET – Christine E. Boutaugh, 71, died Thursday, June 10, 2010, at a Houlton health care facility. She was born April 27, 1939, in Millinocket, to James A. and Harriet (Brown) Boutaugh Sr., the ninth of 11 children. Christine was a communicant of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Millinocket, and graduated from Stearns High School, Class of 1958. She will be missed as the caregiver, communicator and historian for her very large extended family. She is survived by a brother, Wendell Boutaugh and his wife, Susanne, of Millinocket; a sister, Natalie Boutaugh of Houlton; a sister-in-law, Jacqueline Boutaugh; many nieces and nephews. Christine was predeceased by her parents; brothers, James Jr., Vaughn, Gary and Carl; sisters, Gladys Heilman, Billie Lane, Harriet Briggs and Rosetta Myrick; and a brother-in-law, Alton Lane. At her request, there will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, June 19, at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Millinocket, with the Rev. Robert Ficks, pastor, officiating. Interment will be at Millinocket Cemetery.
