Sullivan man indicted in string of burglaries

ELLSWORTH, Maine — A Sullivan man was indicted last week in connection with a string of burglaries in several Hancock County towns earlier this year.

The Hancock County grand jury indicted Randolph W. Garland, 45, on eight counts of Class B burglary, two counts of Class C burglary, seven counts of Class E theft, Class B theft, and three counts of Class C theft.

Garland is charged with breaking into a number of seasonal residences and other buildings in the towns of Brooklin, Sullivan, Brooksville and Township 10, according to Carletta Bassano, the deputy district attorney for Hancock and Washington counties. The burglaries took place between February and March and most were reported by caretakers of those properties, Bassano said.

Garland’s indictment was among the 26 indictments handed up by the grand jury on June 3. Also indicted were:

Richard L. Brown, 21, Sullivan, two counts, unlawful trafficking.

Adrienne A. Carter, 22, Trenton, two counts, unlawful trafficking.

Joshua A. Clark, 22, Franklin, domestic violence assault, obstructing the report of a crime and criminal mischief.

David S. Dorr Jr., 21, Bucksport, two counts aggravated trafficking, unlawful furnishing.

Jeremy J Everly, 28, Sorrento, operating motor vehicle after license revocation and improper plates.

Megan Friel-McCoy, 20, Southwest Harbor, theft.

Brittany F. Holloway, 19, Bucksport, burglary and theft.

Shane R. Jacobs, 23, Bucksport, assault.

Dean C. Labobe, 44, Sullivan, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and domestic violence assault.

Ryan B. Leith, 28, Glenburn, aggravated criminal mischief, receiving stolen goods, unlawful furnishing of drugs.

Richard W. Lint, 43, Surry, operating motor vehicle after license revocation and improper plates.

Joshua M. McInvale, 24, Surry, theft.

William R. McManus Sr., 53, Otis, unlawful trafficking of drugs, aggravated trafficking in drugs and criminal forfeiture.

Carlton O. Mitchell, 19, Ellsworth, operating motor vehicle after license revocation.

Michael T. Paola, 42, Trenton, reckless conduct, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant, operating motor vehicle after license suspension, driving to endanger and leaving the scene of an accident.

Stephanie Pearson-Lange, 37, Bar Harbor, theft.

Timothy N. Pendleton, 28, Bucksport, two counts of unlawful trafficking.

Wayne R. Polley, 35, Ellsworth, operating motor vehicle after license revocation, unauthorized use.
